ICMI is a non denominational charismatic children’s ministry. Our purpose is to bring the gospel to the children of the nations in the power of the Holy Spirit and to raise up other teachers who will do the same.

We have seen God be faithful to His promise from Joel and Acts that in the last days he would pour out His Spirit on all flesh. As the Book of Acts says the promise is for you and for your children for all who are afar off and for all who would call upon the name of the Lord.

The Bible also teaches us that God is searching for those who will worship Him and that out of the mouth of Babes and nursing infants comes forth perfect praise. He says that He will inhabit the praises of His people and we have also found this to be true. As we break through in praise and worship the Lord’s presence comes and with His presence comes joy and freedom. Where the SPirit of the Lord is there is liberty.

The manifestation of Gods Holy Spirit also brings conviction of sin and a revelation of God’s love and mercy. The Holy Spirit testifies to our hearts of the truth of the death burial and resurrection of Jesus. He draws us to Jesus and even very young children are born again.

When the disciples were filled with the Spirit in the book of acts there were many unusual manifestations of the SPirit. The spoke in tounges, there was fire that came, they received boldness, and the had power to witness. We see the those same biblical signs as we seek the Baptism of the Spirit with the Children.

Sometimes children are touched by God and fall under the power of the Spirit. While they are “out in the Spirit” they often testify of having a vision, hearing the voice of God, or of being healed.

Some doubt the authenticity of such manifestations and we understand and teach the need to be balanced and well grounded in the word, but we know and can testify to the fruit of the Baptism of the Spirit. When the children are continuosly filled with the Spirit they have power to overcome the dangers of this world. If there was ever a day when our children needed the power to overcome evil it is today. We thank and praise God for his faithfulness and as He promised when the enemy comes in like a flood The Spirit of the Lord will raise up a standard against him.

We recently traveled to a remote part of India where there is currently war and persecution. The Christians there have suffered. Despite this many are coming to Jesus Christ. While we were there God poured out His Power and many were saved, healed, delivered and Baptized in the Holy Spirit. Many were children and I have included some footage in this video

Dear Mom Gwen,

I wanted to share this with you. It is a wonderful testimony for our
family. Maybe it would be a blessing to share with others as well.
I hesitated, because I want the motive of my heart to be pure, and I
don't want to take any credit for what God has done. "God, purge any
pride from my heart. This is completely Your doing!"

While Rick was in Egypt, we both felt convicted about the lack of
focused time we spend with our children. Too much TV, too much rowdy
play time with the neighbors; not enough family time, not enough
emphasis on prayer and the Bible. We could see the effects in their lives
also. They (especially David) were getting more spankings and had
bad attitudes, were disobedient, unthankful, etc. When we would go
to prayer they would only say, "when are we done....." I was
disturbed and frustrated.

Here are some specific examples:

Micah and David liked watching Lion King - which seems harmless....
Then one day David was pretending to be the lion king. He piled up
some pillows and sat on top. Then he said, "Everyone bow to me. I'm
the King." This was very alarming!
David just loves Spiderman, Superman and Batman - even though he
doesn't really know much about them. Once we watched a Spiderman
movie and once a super heros cartoon. For months he constantly talks
about being a super hero and about these "heros" in his life.
Again, David seems to be drawn to the "bad guy" side and talks about
bad guys, even the devil, far too much.
Micah is often concerned about how she looks and wants to be
"pretty." Which is not wrong, but too much of an focus on self.
Micah was too shy to pray out loud, etc and always worried about
other people laughing at her - again too much self.

The book you gave Rick, "Kid's Battle Zone" confirmed what we were
feeling. So, we began making major changes. We went through all our
videos and got rid of everything that was negative in any way (the
children had enough discernment to know which ones were bad!). And
now we let them watch clean videos only about 3 times a week. Then
we went through the toys, books, and clothes. We feel that things
like Spiderman, Barbie, etc have negative influences. SO to the
trash they all went! I was again amazed at their ability to discern
what was bad and WHY! They did not complain at all, but agreed this
was right. Awesome! We have also limited their playtime with other
children. They tend to get so worked up when playing with their peers.

Now we have seen a HUGE change in their attitudes. They participate
in prayer every day. During our daily prayer meeting, they both lead
out in singing, pray out loud 3-4+ times, and like to do Bible
dramas. Sometimes they pray things we haven't mentioned, and with the
anointing. They "pretend" to be Bible characters and act out the
stories during play time. They get along SO much better (less
arguing and fighting), and their overall behavior is much improved!
Rick has been telling testimonies of his life to them each night.
They love it! He teaches bible lessons, they love it! They sit
still just like if they were watching a movie. Micah just stares at
him as if it is penetrating her very depth! She is hungry for God's
Word. Imagine the great impact this is having on their future lives!

True, they are just 5 and 6 years old. There will naturally be
restlessness, arguing, etc. But it is much less than before. God is
working in them and using them.

I AM SO THANKFUL! What a wonderful testimony.
I know some people may say we are extreme, or that "I played with
Barbie and I'm ok" (I've even said that myself). But now that I see
the amazing change in their lives in two short weeks, I will not back
down! I have begun to see the demonic influence behind many movies
and toys that provoke our children to ungodly behavior.
By the grace of God, we determine to keep the standard high in our
home. To the Glory of God! Hallelujah!

Really it is truly amazing - and SO simple. If only parents would
try it! The devil is out to steal our children, but it is not so
difficult to lead them toward God. We just have to take the effort
and make it a priority. We may be criticized as extreme or "holier
than though", but it's worth it. We took the first steps and God is
really helping us. I am SO thankful for what He is doing in our
children.

We have taught our simple Holy Spirit lesson hundreds of times in many nations. God has blessed it and thousands of children have been baptized by the Holy Spirit as described in Acts 1 and 2. When filled with the Spirit children speak in tongues, an unknown heavenly language, often prophesy and receive power to live holy and witness to the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Fourteen year old girl healed by the power of God!

My name is Divya (14) and I live in a place called Shastri Nagar in Chennai. I have been regularly attending the Metro Life Centre in my area for almost 4 years now. From my childhood I have faced a number of weaknesses in my body. I used have severe pain on my chest, back, stomach and more often on the back of my head.

In the year 2006 I attended the Metro Fest Rally organized by Metro Missions. The Lord filled me with His Holy Spirit abundantly at this meeting. Since that day I have been healed completely of the sufferings in my whole body.
Because of the terrible pain in my head for many years I could not concentrate in my studies. But after the Holy Spirit anointing, even in my academics the Lord helped me to do well and top my class. Due to the pain in my back I could never run before. But after His healing touch in my body I am able to now participate in my school (Auxilium Girls Hr. Sec. School) yearly sports events. At the competition which was held in the month of August 2007 the Lord enabled me to come first in 3 events – Running, Long Jump and Relay. I give the Lord Jesus all the glory!

In the 2007-V.B.S I was one of the teachers and the Lord helped me to teach little children. I am so thankful to God for what He has done in my life. I am also praising God for Metro Missions that reaches out to many children who go through problems like I went through. I have committed my life to serve the Lord all my life and be His witness. Glory to Jesus Christ!

Nine year old girl prohecies in different languages in Bihar, India

IN THE LAST DAYS, “I WILL POUR OUT MY SPIRIT” SAYS GOD

“Is it really God speaking to me in Malayalam through this little Bihari girl? Sajitha, a missionary from Kerala asked herself while she was praying with forty little Bihari children residing in an orphanage run by Nav Bharat mission in Purnia. She was quite overwhelmed as she started narrating the incident.

It was in July 2002. One evening, at about 5’o clock, a nine year old Santhali girl, Suseela felt that she must spend some time in prayer seeking the power of God. “Kanjan, please come, we will pray together,” said Suseela to her friend. As they were praying, they experienced a supernatural power of the Holy Spirit. Later, they felt that they must pray with the rest of the forty kids. “Children, come soon, let us pray and worship the Lord together.” She called her dear friends. Little girls of age between four and twelve, assembled in their veranda along with the missionary in charge for their regular evening prayer.

“My dear sisters, today God is going to do something great! Therefore, let us pray intensely to receive his blessings,” Suseela, exhorted her little friends. On hearing this,

They began to weep and pray loudly. Tears were rolling down the cheeks of even the four year olds. For a moment, they forgot that they were living in a rented building along with the house owner. Perhaps, the sound level was too much for the house owner to bear with. She came running and started scolding the children “Why are you praying so loud? Is your God deaf? Can’t he hear you?”
Though, discouraged a bit but determined to experience God’s power, one by one, they went inside their rooms. After making sure their rooms were sound proof by shutting the doors and windows, they resumed their prayer again. It was as if no body could stop them from praying.

The room was extremely dark. There was no light in the room due to the regular power cut. Suddenly, demonic powers appeared to few four and five year old little children. “Please, worship me, I am Bhagvan, ruler of this place.” pleaded the satanic powers. “No, no, no, we will not worship you, we will worship only Jesus” the children retorted. “Satan, I don’t have time now to worship you, I have lot of home work to do” four year old Durga said to Satan sarcastically.

Subsequently, as they continued worshipping the Lord, their room, though dark, was flooded with the light of God. They were overwhelmed with the presence of God in their midst. They were so full of joy that they began singing and dancing before the Lord. At that juncture, God began to bestow his gifts upon his little ones. Children were amazed as they initiated to speak in different languages, they have never known or heard of.

Suseela, nine-year-old girl belonging to Santhali tribe in Bihar felt that God had imparted a special prophetic anointing upon her to minister in different languages such as Malayalam, Tamil, Naga, English, and Sanskrit & Hindi. She began prophesying to children and missionaries in their own mother tongues. Seeing this, Sajitha, a missionary teacher from Kerala, asked herself, “Is it really God speaking through this little girl? Sensing this, Suseela said in Malayalam, “Yes, Sajitha Miss, it is the Lord speaking to you in your mother tongue.” And continued prophesying about her personal life and her family. Amazed at the working of the Holy Spirit, she too joined the children in praising the Lord.

Afterwards, the neighbors of their locality rushed to the hostel to enquire about the event there. Miss. Prophetess continued to speak to them in their native language. She encouraged the children to love and pray for their enemies, especially their house owner, who had been pestering them for a while. They also persevered in prayer for Purnia and Bihar as well. The prayer went on for 4 long hours. Finally, missionaries had to stop them. By then, it was ten o’ clock in the night.

The next morning, when I heard all of these, I thought, “I must also pray with her to have a first hand experience of the event in the hostel.” I invited her to my home, “Suseela, come and pray with me. I heard that you had a special visitation of the Holy Spirit yesterday.” As we began our worship, she initiated to sing a song in Hindi. I wrote down the words.

To my surprise, it was Joel 2: 28-29.
“ In the last days, I will pour out my Spirit on all people
Your sons and daughters will prophesy
Your old men will see dreams
Your young men will see visions
Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my spirit in those days.”

Later, I found that this little girl was quite unfamiliar with this scripture. This is truly the work of the Holy Spirit and it is marvelous in our eyes.

         This is not an isolated incident. There has been repeated sequence of God’s outpouring of the Holy Spirit in different hostels. It all started when we encouraged the children to memorize the Bible verses. As they imbibed God’s word, they felt a great desire to experience the power of the Holy Spirit. Of late, forty-two women of our Lydia training program were also filled with the Holy Spirit. They were mostly infants in Christ.

   In a nutshell, just like the day of Pentecost, the wind is blowing again in the North Eastern part of Bihar to change the valley of dry bones into the valley of life. Praise be to His name. All glory and honor to whom it belongs.

Dear Mom Gwen,

Greetings in Jesus’ Name!

God has made provision for us to start a Children’s House Of Prayer. Here children of Age 3 onwards and Teens come in the Day, Afternoon and Evening to intercede for the City and Nation. It is a step of Faith and we are moving towards making it a model for the city and our nation.

We also plan to start a Children’s Library for Christian and Secular books so that kids can adopt habit of reading good books.
